S & H RV started as an RV Service Center in May 1976 with just $35.00 and a box of tools. During the very early stages of the RV industry's growth, many sales lots existed, but there were few service centers. S & H was one of the first RV Service Centers in our area dedicated to repairs and reconstruction. We outgrew our original location on US Highway 12 and moved to West US Highway 20, but our need for a centrally located facility brought us to our present location at 625 East US 20, Michigan City, giving us easy access to and from I-94 exits. We are now in our 32nd year of serving customers and helping them with their recreational vehicle needs.
Having the advantage of working in his family's heating and air conditioning business, Steve Hornyak began an RV business that within ten years would be nationally recognized as the place to take your RV for dependable and caring service. Motorhome Magazine described us as "the place that fixes RV'ers, too," noting our emphasis on helping customers solve their RV service problems.
